Personally, my favorite X-Men adaptation is still the early '90s Fox cartoon, but I liked the movie, and the casting's looking good. Looks like Halle Berry's Oscar means they might actually bother to write a part for Storm this time. And Alan Cumming is a perfect Nightcrawler.

Best of all, looks like this new movie is placing Magneto, the most complex character in the X-Universe, right where he belongs... on the fuzzy line between good and evil.

But... still no Gambit? (ducking things thrown by [livejournal.com profile] metaphorge and [livejournal.com profile] yendi...)

There is slash for everything. And if there isn't give it a few days. =)

I've never read the Homicide stuff, but I didn't watch the show, so not so into it there.

This is a truism.

My brain was nearly shattered by Dukes of Hazzard slash. I got better.

Then a friend showed me the Harry Potter slash.

THAT was when my head exploded.

I mean... jesus. I've got no problems with dudes doing their thing... but... eeeesh.

also: Portal of Evil is the place for all your soulshattering stories in which beloved characters pump each other up the pooper.

As pointed out in Neil Gaiman's blog, there is Knight Ridder slash; the relations between a man and his car.
