Further thoughts on LJ Singles

kellinatorI'm not so sure if this is a good idea. I mean, personals ads are all about putting the best spin on things, and LJ is where I put out all my insecurities and bitchiness. It's not exactly endearing. The last LJ boy I liked ran away screaming.
On the other hand, a more honest environment might actually make things more pleasant for everyone.

Second, it makes sense that it would work better (in the long run)on this basis other then a all-fancy, all-flattering sort of meeting up, being that the traits are going to be exposed one way or another, sooner or later. Yes?
Perhaps it gives a better insite into the potential partner, so any crazy quirks won't be quite so suprising.
However, not everyone writes highly personal entries, which could leave those who do feeling over-exposed and vulnerable.
