Exhaustion?

Yesterday at work I could barely keep my eyes open. So I ended up going home and taking a nap at 6:30.

I woke up at 1:30 in the morning, ate some pasta, watched some Homicide, went back to bed.

Finally got out of bed at 8:30.

That's pathetic, isn't it?

In other news, the kitties brought me a present. A little dead mole with lots of puncture wounds. Lillie says her vet says that when they bring you stuff, it's because they think you're their kitten and they're trying to teach you to hunt.

Last night I got home from work, took a nap, drove 1/2 hour to STL, went through a sobriety check point, spent 2 minutes at a bar, and drove 1/2 hour back. THAT'S pathetic. Heh.

yeah my cats used to do that all the time... except for a while, we had one that wouldn't actually kill the little animals, she would just slightly injure them (if at all) and release them in our house... bunnies, snakes, birds, mice, etc etc...

some people also say when cats do that they are offering the animals to you as presents.. awwwww

If they bring you a "present" that's injured but alive, they're trying to teach you to hunt. You're expected to dispatch it. If they bring you dead presents, it's just their way of helping to provide for the pride.
