When did this happen? And what will I do when I need to be reminded that I am not, in fact, the most messed-up person on Earth?

Recently. Probably due to the show's increasingly poor ratings. Or perhaps the fact that a husband murdered his wife after appearing on a Jerry Springer episode by throwing her to the ground and stomping on her skull. Ouch!!

They also cancelled Sally Jesse Raphael.
