Yay! It sounds like you two are doing very well. The quiet atmosphere and the fact that you can give her your undivided attention is helping her open up. I'm glad she's starting to play; that should help her lose a few ounces and enrich her mind as well, since kitties can get bored, too. Sorry about the bathroom thing... my cat would like to be in the room, but knows when I go for the door that she needs to be on the side of it that I'm not on. Cuz she'd rather get there under her own power than have me plunk her--oh the indignity!--on the other side myself. LOL
