obe wasn't an adult when I adopted her (she was 6 months old) but she is super timid. Don't hold Heidi when new people/animals are being introduced unless you fancy ribbony flesh on your arms and stomach, and puncture wounds on your shoulders and back. Try not to hold her at all, really, because she'll freak out until she's all but said "hey you, HOLD ME" by climbing in your lap or whatever. non-contrictive snuggles are good. If she continues to show no interest in food, take her to the vet; its not a good sign. right now she's probably a little freaked at being in a new place to worry too much about eating. Make sure shes drinking water, too. Be very very patient and make sure that once she starts eating she knows you are the source of her foodses and she will looooove you.
