I thought it was weird that I got her both times.
Rogue's always been one of my favorites, though frankly I think I'd rather be Nightcrawler or Gambit (hell of a lot of style, those two). And Rogue and Gambit are my favorite X-Couple by far. They were especially good together in the early-'90s animated series where I first encountered the X-Men.
I always thought Rogue had the most miserable mutant power: the ability to absorb other people's thoughts and powers by touching them, which meant she could touch no one.
Touch is vitally important to me; I'm not kidding when I say I want cuddling more than sex. I mean, I want both, but I know which one I need more right now. I miss being held, which feels so much like being safe. I have the most beautiful memory of being held tight, with no sex involved, nothing more than an occasional kiss on my hand... how I miss that.
