Last night I was on the phone with vernard and I started bitching because I don't have a costume yet for albumlady's party, and he was like "That's easy. Put on The Corset, put on some wings and come as the Snark Fairy."

It's so perfect I'm pissed I didn't think of it first.

So... Your input requestd. What sort of accessories does the Snark Fairy need? Tiara's a given. I've got a lovely circlet of green roses that some of you have seen, which sadly needs the elastic replaced or something before it breaks, or another copper circlet. A wand's also essential, as deza points out -- or maybe a Snark Stick to whap people with. More?

And for those of you who have seen me lately, should I make sure I get a haircut first?

EDIT: celeloriel says flowers aren't snarky. But I wuv my circlet... Other suggestions?

Sculpey horns. Very very easy to make. I'd make 'em for ya, but I'm guessing the party is probably too soon to wait on me getting supplies and mailing you a set of horns. Personally, I think you need special, snarky wings. There are instructions on that page for basic wing construction and instructions for fishnet wings... those could look cool with a corset...

Okay, so now that I'm in craft-y, creative mode, I've started thinking... maybe I could craft a scepter out of sculpey, too... I could paint it, or leave it so you could paint it, and I could even decoupage Munch's face on the topper...

Mind you, I'm not one hundred percent sure it would work, but it should...

Well, I could just do it for you at-cost, I guess. I'll have to buy sculpey and decorations, but I already have sealer and decoupage stuff. I'll need a picture of Munch, but if I can't find a magazine image I can clip, I can print one off of internet, so that won't factor into cost...
I'd put it somewhere between $10 and $20, just to be *really* safe, and that's probably including postage. Depending on how fancy we get with the decorations for the scepter (if we decide on adding beads or ribbon or what have you) it may go up a little, but I doubt it.

This is just me guestimating, though, and if I can make things less expensive then I will.
