If everyone is really buzzing in on every question, and there is such a thing as "buzzing to early" even though Alex has started talking, then (1) that's evil, and (2) it's no longer a contest about knowledge it's a contest for mice hitting the food button. 13 rounds of practice on the buzzer? You didn't stand a chance. It would be one thing to get rid of the 5 day rule if there really was a large spread in the knowledge level of the contestants and knowing more answers was how you won. But given the screening process and numbers of applicants, it's just stupid because you can learn exactly when to buzz in and that shouldn't be what wins you the game.
