So, last night was really cool. After weeks of missing each other, I finally got to meet up with gmslegion and his kids for the first time. Grant is really cool, and Julian and Ivy are adorable and very energetic. Oh, and Grant passed along the first two Homicide tie-in novels. I have no idea if they're any good, but their very existence induced much squee!ing.

EDIT: Speaking of Homicide, that lucky bastard scarcrest is in Baltimore and taunting me by sending back pictures of the squadhouse on his picture phone. Fucker won't even bring me a crabcake. :P

Let me know if the books are good. Also, I hear ya on the Balmer jealousy...my Buffy board is getting together there in May and I CAN'T GO!(there is a small but devoted Homicide contingent, some of whom I've converted, I'm proud to say.) I'll be relying on muscle memory to sustain me.
