Why am I awake, exactly?

I've been making an effort to spend more time alone lately, but tonight it's caught up with me and I find myself sitting in front of the computer idly clicking links and reading journals of people I just tangentially know.

Being alone is good. But I need people. I need to get out.

you are being LONELY.... that is not the same thing as being alone.

You need to find something that you can do on your lonesome that makes you feel serene and competant. Mine is writing, playing violin and cleaning house. You have things you like to do alone, but you haven't explored them enough to find the one or two things that bring you such comfort you don't even realize you are alone for a while.

I believe in you.
