kellinatorI've got to write one more paper tonight... but I really don't want to.
I've done an amazing amount of work in the past few days, but now I'm tired. Lisa took me to Michaels and I got some beautiful, almost velvety yarn and have started my afghan (though chances are I'll rip out the work I've already done later tonight in an attempt to get it just right). I had a wonderful talk with my mom and I can't wait to see her. We're going to go see Ocean's Eleven and drool over George Clooney together (prime mother-daughter bonding activity!).
I want to crochet my afghan, to create, to give my brain a break. I want to play with the kitties and look at the Christmas lights.
The world needs to slow down for a little while.
