What's involved in setting up a PayPal account? It's time for me to renew.

You just go to paypal.com and sign up. they'll want a credit card or a checking/savings account to start.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE PAYPAL YOUR BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION

You can give them a CC, and will need to, to do anything, but its cool because your CC protects you against fraud. Your bank will not protect you (at least, they dont have to for values under like $500) and even then its a HUGE hassle.

Paypal will act like your account isnt complete if you didnt give them bank account information but thats a crock of shit. You dont need to give them an account number to do transactions, just a CC #.
