The complexities of email

My Hotmail overflowed while I was out of town and practically all of my old email got deleted.

Emails from old friends. Emails from old lovers. Gone.

I haven't yet decided how I feel about this.

Hotmail should be renamed SPAM Mail. If you do not log in for 30 days they delete all of your email and all of your contacts. You only get 2MBs of storage. They automatically delete your sent email after 30 days to help insure that you do not go over 2MBs of space. Everyone has better spam filters. It is not an accident. They want your mailbox to fill up to push you to pay for a bigger email box. I only use Hotmail when I am registering software or something and have to get a response.

You should try Yahoo Mail. They give you a 6MB mailbox for free. :-)

For practical intents and purposes, I don't use Hotmail anymore -- I've moved to Yahoo and much prefer it. But I had some old stuff I was still hanging on to.
