Law and Order: Sicko Ripoff Unit

Wow, have the SVU writers been spending too much time watching The Shield or what? That episode was fucked up. (Even more so than normal, that is.)

( spoilers cut-tagged so Reannon won't yell at me. She'll probably yell at me for the first paragraph anyway but saying SVU is fucked up is kind of like saying the sky is blue and Dick Wolf is a ratings whore. )

In the interests of full disclosure, I should admit that I was glued to last night's SVU and it's one of the few network shows I try never to miss. It's melodramatic, over-the-top, and sometime totally ridiculous, but it keeps me coming back, so it must be doing something right.

But I'm still going to snark on it, because it's so much fun!
