Last night I had the honor of hanging out with streamweaver and cadoln and watching Smallville. The funny thing is, I've never watched Smallville regularly and hadn't seen an episode in years, yet by the end of the episode I felt completely caught up. Just like a soap opera. Wait, it is a soap opera.

But anyway, Scott, Courtney, and I were all in total agreement that Chloe rocks and Lana sucks. Then I logged on LJ and saw all of you agreeing with me. And scarcrest and I have discussed this ad nauseum. So obviously, it's time for a poll.

Of course, this is all just academic, because we all know Clark's real one true love is Lex.

And while I'm on the subject of Smallville...

musesfool at crack_van has provided us with the best Smallville/Angel/X-Files/West Wing crossover ever. Okay, it's probably the only Smallville/Angel/X-Files/West Wing crossover ever. But it's still damn good.

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for all the wise advice and support you've given me, especially recently with the reappearance of my evil ex. I would far prefer to go through and thank each one of you individually (I always feel like a dick when I don't manage to reply to each comment), but bitchy professors and their copies just don't allow right now. Anyway, I wanted to let y'all know that it really does mean a lot to me, and I really appreciate it.

I'm thinking about taking up a new hobby (as if I needed another time and money sink): miniature painting! I was hoping some of you out there might have some tips on getting started. In particular, is there any such thing as a set of paints that won't break the bank?
