I have the best boss in the world.

Okay, I've mentioned it before, I love my boss, my boss is cool, but something was bothering me: I hadn't figured out his politics, and if you know me at all you know I can't keep my mouth shut about politics.

So Wednesday we had this big interlibrary loan meeting with people from libraries all over Georgia and about ten of us are eating at Applebee's afterward. And we're chatting.

And someone mentions the election.

And the entire table erupts in a cavalcade of good, old-fashioned, cranky liberal, yellow-dog Democrat, Dubya-loathing sentiment.

Including my boss. (Though of course, taking into consideration that his picture is in the dictionary next to "mild-mannered" so he wasn't as venomous as, say, me.)

Have I mentioned that I love my boss?

Two things I realized at lunchtime:

1). Intense self-loathing on my part frequently has something to do with missed meals.

2). While reading an article about rude football fans and living in an instant-gratification society (trust me, it made more sense in the article), I realized that I'm guilty of the same thing. Bitching and moaning because I don't have what I want *right now.* Oops. Something to work on.

Oh, and one thing I realized after lunch:

1). I'm pretty sure I'm getting sick.

Wow.

And I thought I was feeling bad...

I looked through a bunch of my old LJ entries. Man, my life SUCKED!! Things are much better now!!
