Musings on TIPS
Jul. 19th, 2002 03:41 pmHere's the thing. George W. and his cronies have always held themselves up as the ideal of the Republican party -- including, especially, small government. Privatization. Staying out of people's business.
TIPS is the antithesis of that. TIPS is like something out of the minds of the "godless Commies" that W. and his cronies seem to think people like us insos_usa are. What hypocrisy. Even House Majority Leader Dick Armey is willing to agree. Let's hope that more patriotic members of the Republican party are willing to question their leader's judgment.
This is not a Republican issue. This is not a Democrat issue. This is an American issue.
