And four hours on the interstate is so much fun...

i don't wanna be here i wanna be home i hate hellanta i want my mommmmiiieeee...

So as I was driving I began singing along with the radio (badly, of course) and wondering if I could compose an entire journal entry out of just song lyrics. I mean, interestingly arranged song lyrics. This isn't that entry; these are just some lines that stuck with me. Some resonated, some were just catchy.

"please God, tell me that I'm still asleep"

"but when you're broken down and no one else is around, you'll be coming back to this town and I'll be there"

"a simple prop to occupy my time"

"the more you suffer, the more it shows you really care, right?"

"my mother says to get a job, but she don't like the one she's got"

"even if you don't want to speak tonight, it's all right, all right with me"

"remember the good times that we had, we let them slip away from us when things got bad"

"I have become cumbersome to this world"

"Annie, you okay?"

"I'm going straight to hell, just like my mama said"

The first person to name title and artist for all of these gets twenty cool points and a drink on me. I don't think they're all that hard.
