LiveJournal... Live!!
Jan. 19th, 2002 09:38 pmThursday night several of us Atlanta LiveJournallers got together at Fellini's. The crowd included juiceboxhero, jathomas, nativeatlantan, not_hothead_yet, ladylabyrinth, elvis_christ, 2can, shelbinator, wandergirl, drunkmuppet, raycharles, the_yellow_king, baphomet13, and probably some other people I missed who will hopefully understand...
Sorry, there would be links but I couldn't get the lj-specific tags to work. :(
Anyway, I had fun and hopefully others did as well. We need to keep having these things...

Jan. 19th, 2002 11:04 pmAs stated in some other journals around here:
"The Breast Cancer site - www.thebreastcancersite.com- is having trouble getting enough people to visit it in order to meet their quota of donating free mammograms each day to underprivileged women. Their corporate sponsors donate mammograms based upon the number of daily visits to the site. All you have to do it visit their site and click on "FUND FREE MAMMOGRAMS" (pink button in the middle). That's it! And circulate this info if you can."
I'd like to add that I've been visiting them for a while and they're really great. Also check out their sister sites The Hunger Site (which is listed in my interests) and The Rainforest Site. They're also linked at the sites. And check out Ecology Fund while you're at it.
These sites make giving so easy that there's really no excuse not to.
