I survived. Can I have a nap?

I drove back from Tennessee today. And if I sound slightly off (well, more so than usual) it's probably because I had to stop every hour to ingest sugar and/or caffeine -- usually both. I didn't get enough sleep last night because I was watching the most excellent TV show Homicide. Which meant that today's drive was the scariest of my life -- more than once I was convinced I was dangerously close to falling asleep at the wheel.

Before I can write, I have to prod myself into becoming more aware of my surroundings and doing some serious homework. (sigh) It never fails to surprise me when I need a break to recover from the break.

I so missed my LiveJournal while I was in Tennessee. I mean, I'm on this thing all the fuckin' time. I post so damn much that Whorlwind has threatened to take me off his friends list for cluttering up his nice pretty friends page. Heh. LiveJournal is such a wonderful thing for people like me with mental diahrrea.
