Has anyone else noticed that SaveKaryn's money-saving tips involve theft (from roommates, retailers, etc.)?

SaveKaryn reminds me a little of my ex-roommate Alyson (who earned a particular four-letter nickname through extreme rudeness, racism, and erasing my phone messages over the course of six months in hell), only Alyson was bitchier.

The stories I hear (plus my insane need for clean) is a huge reason I really won't consider getting a roommate seriously.

However, if I find one who, like me, must wash dishes at least twice a day and cleans the shower with comet after every one, then sure.

As for the roommate thing, yeah, my roommates and I share non-core long-life, little-use food things like salad dressing, mustard, etc. But, of course, we've talked about this and agreed to it.

This girl just doesn't understand how to live like an adult. I mean, come on, resisting the urge to go shopping at Saks "saved" her $600? Please. The rest of the world survives just fine wearing the same pair of sunglasses for as long as they don't get lost. ("oh my gosh! I'm going to look soooo uncool if I don't have the latest pair of Gucci sunglasses!" - Please raise your hand if your only really expensive sunglasses purchases have been a pair or two of nice Ray Ban's or Oakleys, etc, that actually are technologically designed to protect your eyes. I thought so.)

Ugh.
