Sundquist is a paper tiger--he's had a long time to fix this, as TN has been slowly going bankrupt for a while. TN has a *spending problem*, with TennCare being the main culprit (This should serve as an illustration of how disasterous a HilaryCare plan would have been).
What the protesters are objecting to is the gov't coming back to the trough and saying "give us more, more, more" instead of reigning in inefficient programs and bloated beuracracy.
