I've just realized how broke I am.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can make ends meet? Does anyone need a tarot reading or a crocheted afghan? I won't do prostitution or snake handling, but anything else is fair game.

The problem with part-timing is I already have two side library jobs and I just don't have the time for something else like that.

Have you considered *shudder* selling off books at a used book store? If you're like me, a lot of detrius accumulates over the years... I know it can feel like selling a friend, but if you can get around that, it might be a bit of cash- with the bonus of less clutter.

Go to one of the fertility-treatment places and sell your eggs...they'll pay up to $5K, I think, if you pass the medical screen. You have more than you need, anyway...

Those machines are SO not sterile. Do you really want your blood being sucked out of your body, through tubes, a filtration device, and back through more tubes into your other arm?

They promised you that it's cleaned and sterilized...yeah right! And get a good look at some of the dirtbags who also show up to donate (using the same machine as well). They hardly look sterile themselves. This is nasty dirty business.

Donating an egg sounds like a good idea though.

eBay-- aside from the fact that the crocheted afghans might be one option to sell online (I know lots of folks selling jewelry or other items), it's also good for clearing out old books or other items.

Sigmund, just one of your anonymous readers who found you randomly. I sound like someone everyone knows, though. If my occasional comments ever get annoying, just let me know! I simply fancy myself a voice of reason and chime in when I see a bad idea posited (such as donating plasma/platlets).
