Booze would make it better, certainly. I just think there were a lot of nonsensical moments.
And would someone please do something with Munch? He's the most interesting character on there, and he keeps ending up...well, not so much on the back burner as off the whole stove.
I... I'm ashamed to admit this... as a lifelong SVU fan... but I actually changed the channel partway through and watched that new Jimmy Smits show, Cane. Wasn't half bad. Which is more than I can say for SVU.
I didn't hate it. But I didn't really like it, either. Of course, for a breath I thought we might get Capt. Munch, and that would be cool. Points for Cynthia Nixon cruising for an Emmy, loses points for Dick Wolf's attitude toward mental illness.
Re Stabler: I thought that was a total myth. Does he have hairy palms too? I liked that show *so* much at first. Except Benson's weeping, which made me miss Kay. Of course, most women on TV make me miss Kay because she is a plain-talking goddess.

Could always flip channels to Boston Legal and register your displeasure that way...

And, hey, I just read the other day that the big twist this season is going to be... Stabler goes blind! *dramatic music*
*eyeroll*
