hahaha! I got the same thing out of that (though I did enjoy it as a "turn off your brain and watch the ride" movie. And I enjoyed how they made the character obviously gay, but his gayness wasn't a plot point, just part of his character bio). Only rich, skinny, white people lived, and only rich white men could save the day.
There were no fat people on the entire ship! The only black man was the doomed captain. And the only hispanics were kitchen help.
