Everyone spare a good thought for ariedana, who's going into surgery right now to get her gallbladder removed. Of course, if you really want to make her feel loved, send her nude pics of Hugh Laurie.

I don't know ariedana, but she's got all my sympathy with the gallbladder removal. I had mine removed almost exactly a year ago and it was NOT fun. I dinstinctly remember waking up and feeling like I had been stabbed. And the mean nurses telling me I had to get up and walk around, to which I responded that I would rather punch them in the face, because fuck you, I've just been stabbed, would you want to walk around if you'd just been stabbed?

A year has done nothing to dull my wrath ...

Anyway, the point is that I've got plenty of good thoughts that I'm diligently sending in her direction!

In further proof that I do need more coffee this morning, I got to the end of your post, and then read your "concerned" mood and thought "I'd be concerned about what effect nude pictures of Hugh Laurie would have on her post-op state too."
