A royal time

I'm all about The Royal Tenenbaums. I finally got to see it a few days ago, and I knew before I saw it that I would need to see it a few times. That's one of the things I love the most about Wes Anderson's movies, they're so dense and they reward repeated viewings... I didn't even like Bottle Rocket the first time I saw it. Boy was I wrong.

And I adore Owen Wilson even more now for his apparent lack of ego... Can you think of any other actor who would co-write, then play a scene in nothing but a cowboy hat and tighty-whities? ;)

I've stopped taking the Academy seriously because of their lack of props to Anderson and Wilson.

I really enjoyed the movie as well, only it really REALLY made me want to start smoking again. She just looked so cool doing it. It seemed so pleasurable.
