As usual, we are up to no good.

Though we intend absolutely no disrespect to the victims of any hurricanes, [livejournal.com profile] ariedana and I found ourselves in need of something to cheer us up amidst all the dire news. Therefore, we present the Hurricane Rita Drinking Game.

Oh you two and your hijinks...

I'll just be sitting here, as the refugees from Galveston, Corpus Christi, Houston, and other low or below sea level citizens of Texans come piling into Laredo here.

*almost wishes beer didn't taste so icky so he could join in*

And yes I agree that Rita is getting overhyped like that Chris Rock show.

For some reason, as I read that sentence, the song "I've got friends in low places" came to mind...

And you could always use cocktails, mixed drinks, or straight liquor instead of beer to play drinking games.

OK, your icon made me laugh out loud!

Hilarious! (and a great way to cure stress from too much news watching, too)

Now if I could only drink at work (I work in a newsroom.)

Hey! Can I knock back a drink every time some Georgia dumbass raises gasoline prices or closes the schools because of the storm?

Please? :)
