You say it's my birthday!
I love my birthday! It's the day of the year I get to feel special just for being born!
I woke up with that damn "It's my birthday! Get busy!" thing in my head! Luckily now I have an actual song stuck in my head. ("Mighty K.C.", the Kurt Cobain tribute song For Squirrels did before half the band got killed in a car crash. So sad. I love the Nineties at Nine.)
When I got on LJ this morning and saw all the birthday wishes, I was overwhelmed. You don't know how much it means to the little girl from the sticks that no one wanted to sit with at lunch. I still have trouble sometimes believing that people think I'm cool, but it means the world that y'all care. Thank you. I love you all.
And as I did on my past two birthdays, I'll be drinking with my friends tonight. Only this time, instead of losing my sanity and drunk-dialing whichever guy is jerking me around at the moment, I'll be going home with my darling Michael. He probably won't even read this, but baby, you were worth the wait. *smooch*
We will be at Blue Moon Pizza at 2359 Windy Hill Road in Marietta tonight starting around 8. I hope lots of you will be able to join us.
