Booya, baby! April showers!

Oh yeah! A huge-ass line of thunderstorms is headed right for us! And they're heavy thunderstorms! Weather.com said so!

I loooooooove thunderstorms. I love rain, but throw in thunder and lightning and it's ten times better. Growing up in Tennessee, we used to go out on the front porch and watch the lightning in the distance. Near the end of my drive home from Easter, I saw the biggest, most gorgeous lightning strikes, and I just regretted that I had to drive the damn car instead of watching them. But I digress. Yeah. I like thunderstorms. Big noisy ones with lots of lightning.

*looks at Weather.com's hourly forecast*

Hey!! What do you mean the "heavy" storms don't start until 1 in the morning? Dude! I've got to get some sleep sometime!

Oh well, guess I'll just have to watch Eyes instead...

I love them too.... I sleep like a baby in a thunderstorm - as long as my computers are unplugged. :)

As long as I get to sit at home and listen to them, I'm cool. I hate driving in thunderstorms.

Sleep is for the weak.

You want thunderstorms, move to Tampa Bay. Lightning capital of the United States. You want a job, stay here. ;)

dude, totally! my absolute favorite thing about the 12 yrs i lived in tampa/sarasota was speeding over the bridges (mad love to the sunshine skyway) in the dead of night, especially during big loud crackly storms.... when the sky and the bay waters appear so black you can easily imagine they're part of the same big void, and then *flash* for a split second they're delineated once again.

i also miss driving over lightning-lit bayshore blvd, but that's not the kind of thoroughfare on which one can comfortably do 80 mph.

i'm so pleased for you! and jealous, i might add... though now that i live anywhere-but-so-cal, i know i'll have another turn to revel in a thunderstorm of my very own soon enough.

also, it's really nice not to be the only one who makes glowy gleeful posts about precipitation. :D

Tim Daly. Yum.

And I love thunderstorms as well. I especially love how the air gets really tense right before they roll in. I love it!!

I've always loved thunderstorms. I'm getting ready to go sit on my screenporch with a glass of wine and enjoy the show!
