It has been my distinct pleasure to introduce a few LiveJournal peeps to the wonder that is Homicide: Life on the Street. I'm betting at least a couple of you are salivating over the DVD release of Season 6 later this month.

Well, salivate away. But first, let me share a helpful tip:

The Homicide: Seasons 6 and 7 Drinking Game

If Falsone is on screen, drink. Continue until he leaves or you pass out.

Just trust me. This will help a lot.

That is why I'm so excited about my alterna-Season 5 with no Falsone, but with Jimmy and Bunk from The Wire. I love, love, love to write Kay. She may be my favorite of all to fic. And I hate Falsone.
Falsone, The Bush Boys, Rupert Murdoch, Ann Coulter,
my hate list is small but intense.

Nowhere yet, but when I have something you know I will...take 11cents off the 10-7 list, maybe.
But I will say that aspirin bottle thing is much hotter the way I've written it.(I hated that so much I started a fic to wash the taste away. )

I'm so ripping off Pelecanos in the last section, but the man writes sentences I'd like to fuck, to get Landsman about it. Just like the section of AYOKS where it goes into second person about "You may have cut somebody, bunk, but that don't make you a surgeon." Mr. Simon ain't pretty, but I have a crush on him, anyways. Pelecanos IS pretty.
