Because you just saw Kerry fail to completely destroy Bush with powerful rhetoric, instead only managing to barely stand stronger than a gibbering idiot. That's gotta be a disappointment. He could have done SO much better -- he had the knowledge, and he had the polish, but he was so stilted, like he was lecturing and not debating....

...though, I'm beginning to think the format was partially to blame. I'll rewatch it on the Tivo and see what I think....

...or, it could be that Kerry did so nicely, but Bush is **STILL** ahead in the polls, because they don't give us votes proportional to our IQ (your IQ should be a percentage value to your vote, I think). Alas, we live in a nation of people that can't figure out that tobacco can cause lung cancer, and sedentary life styles contribute to obesity, who spend more time watching Survivor than reading news from decent sources....

or, it could be that you are plotting ways to kill me, and that can take a LOT of energy to work out.
