Los Angeles Lakers: We know drama.

The Lakers have exceeded even my highest expectations for drama.

I expected Phil Jackson to go. But Shaquille O'Neal calling for a trade? This is better than Days of Our Lives!

"It looks like Buss, the Lakers' owner, has made his choice: Kobe stays; the others can go. In other words, he is not averse to trading Shaq and is willing to build his franchise around a narcissist who's on trial for rape, doesn't make his teammates better and is in denial over all of it."

For once, I agree with Shaq: The Lakers should appreciate the fact that he didn't rip Kobe's head off this year.

I won't be surprised if both guys end up in LA next year. Kobe can get more money from LA than anywhere else, and he surely realizes that Shaq is on the decline.

Shaq, on the other hand, makes $30 million a year. Trading him necessitates either taking on bad contracts, or an enitre team. It's possible, but not easy.

*sniff* *sniff* This article makes me so HAPPY, what with the snark and Shaq attempting historical analogy and all. Tee-hee.
