heh heh. Truly.

I knew someone that worked in a restaurant in Fl with Scott years ago. He said Scott would beat up his girlfriend and was a total asshole then, too.

We have to live with this asshat in Orlando.

(And my co-worker saw Mark Tremonti in Publix a few weeks ago. She was very excited.)

That's the best news I've heard all week.

the sad part is, i got this joke *bangs head against wall*

Astonishingly, I looked at my friends list and you and europopkid have reported the news, gleefully, one right after the other.

What makes it even more astonishing is that europopkid loves the Lakers almost as much as you hate them.

That's great news. Loved the first album but everything after that sucked.

Last night, at the Darkness show, there was a guy wearing a "Creed Sucks" shirt...

[identity profile] vernard.livejournal.com 2004-06-04 03:05 pm (UTC)(link)
I actually liked Creed's first two albums. I didn't think they sucked on their CDs.

However, I also didn't follow the band other than that.

The biggest rock band of the past decade has broken up.

They're kidding, right?

Right?

I'll admit, my taste in music is running around somewhere on the fringes, but no one *seriously* believes that Creed is the biggest rock band since 1994? Do they?!?!?!

[identity profile] jesshelga.livejournal.com 2004-06-04 04:32 pm (UTC)(link)
Your link title was, far and away, the funniest thing I've seen all day. Thanks!

[identity profile] katyakoshka.livejournal.com 2004-06-04 05:01 pm (UTC)(link)
I remember hearing about Creed in 2000-2001.

Then, for me, they dropped off the face of the earth. I didn't know they still existed. That's what I get for avoiding all Clear Channel radio stations, huh? :D

But, yes, I am pleased. It helps that I've been watching VH1 of late, with its ode-to-the-80s-mode goin' strong... Creed compared to the insanity of 80s rock & metal... Please. Those guys had fun, too. Biggest rock band of the decade? Whatev.

[identity profile] blondeheroine.livejournal.com 2004-06-04 06:16 pm (UTC)(link)
Hot damn! Can we go back in time and break them up like, four years ago, so we don't ever have to hear their songs again?

[identity profile] maida-mac.livejournal.com 2004-06-07 10:37 am (UTC)(link)
The world is now a much better place, yes.

Thanks to me...?

I got the link from you. And believe me, it induced mirth. :)
