Two years ago, my favorite type of my-brain-is-taking-a-vacation reading material was trashy romance novels.

Now it's sleazy true-crime books.

Robert Graysmith. Zodiac. He's written about three of 'em. You'll be set for weeks.

Other good-if-trashy ones I read recently: Murder at Yosemite and Blood Will Tell by Carlton Smith. He writes for St. Martin's Press, which is a gold mine of trashy true crime. Y'know, the ones who rush to get the book on the market ASAP. :)
