Look on the bright side: many highly talented artists were tortured souls. This increases the likelyhood that you'll become a well-respected artist in the medium of your choosing.

Barring the existence of quality drugs to help you out of your swing, I recommend listening to the Super Chicken theme song at least 4 times.

That really is what it feels like. One minute I'm bopping along, cheery happy, everything is fine... and BOOM!! suddenly I'm a quivering mass of depression and self-loathing.

At least I get through them a little quicker than I used to.
