One of the biggest irritations about my job
My first couple of months on the job here, as many of you know, I was a basket case, posting "Stupid Lawyer Tricks" every five minutes and bitching so much that some people took me off their friends list. Then I realized that I couldn't go on like that, taking everything so personally; it was going to drive me nuts. So I learned to laugh it off, and now most of the attitude I get is water off a duck's back.
But there are still a few things that put me through the roof.
And one of the biggest is the fact that all the Atlanta-area law firms are convinced that the sole purpose of my existence is to cater to their every need.
Listen up, fuckers!! I have professors and students to take care of!! We lend to you as a courtesy!! You are not my top priority!! Do NOT come in here expecting me to drop everything to cater to your whims!!
*exhales*
Okay, a little better now...
