Lets try to cut back on perpetuating needless drama.

Do you know what bandwidth, co-location space and servers cost? A LOT. A LOT LOT LOT. I think for $2 and change a month LJ is a sweet deal, even if there are the the occasional performance issues. I dont see what else our money could or would be going for except feeding those large expenses to make anyone feel "uneasy" about it based on a squabble in an IRC chatroom.

Hey, I said I was going to re-up. I'm grateful for LiveJournal and think it's a great system. That said, I do think it's rude of Brad to start yelling at his volunteers, especially when he's always begging people to volunteer. Like it or not, if you claim your system is a community, you should be able to play nice in that community yourself.
