Yeah, baby!

Today as I was getting in the shower I glimpsed myself in the mirror.

I thought Damn, I look good.

Almost everything looks better, and I'm even getting a little muscular in the arms.

It's encouraging. I've been at this a month and haven't made myself miserable yet. I have more energy; if I'd realized, I would have done this long ago. And I'm pleased with how I look, but more pleased with my follow-through.

I'm glad!

And it only gets better over time. Just be careful not to do it more than about three or four times a week(an hour a pop or so). If you overtrain you will reduce the benefits greatly.

I've been trying to do it more often than that, but I hardly ever make it past twenty to thirty minutes -- I just don't have the patience.

Why the icky face?

Because I've seen people overtrain and it's something that almost happened to me. Walking at least 3-4 miles a day, alternating between cardio and weight training for 4 days a week. I was considered dangerously close to overtraining.

Trust me, that is extremely unlikely to happen to me.

I am jealous! I want to get skinny too! :) Weight Watchers is working for me, just so slow...Will you be my inspiration? :)

I am nowhere near skinny... but that's okay! We can be inspirations to each other!

And don't worry, the weight you lose slowly is most likely to stay off, I believe. The big thing is developing healthier habits.
