This is just for [livejournal.com profile] alm35.

I've spent a lot of time in bookstores this weekend. It's one of the best ways for me to recharge my batteries...

Unfortunatly, now I want stuff. Wanna see?

Gosh, I love books. I'm the picture of "Buy the new books and wear the old clothes."

Anyway, in Barnes and Noble the "true crime" and "women's studies" shelves are right next to each other. I thought I was looking at the "true crime" shelf when I saw an Elizabeth Wurtzel book, and I thought, "They've finally made liking Elizabeth Wurtzel a crime?"

Hehe... it should be a crime :)

Maybe it means they finally admit that publishing her is a crime...

The Sea Shall Embrace Them: The Tragic Story of the Steamship Arctic sounds good.

Well, I found it in the Emory library. I'll let you know how it is!

Bad taste is always a crime.

If bad taste is a crime, my movie collection will get me put UNDER the jail.

I love you, Story of Ricky!

Story of Ricky is considered bad?

Nah -- the only standard for bad taste is my own, of course (which is the only reason I feel it should be a crime). If I go by societal standards, I'm just as screwed (remember Peter Jackson before he did Heavenly Creatures? I've got all of his films).
