kellinator: (WTF?)

Who do you really love?

Here's a hypothetical question for you:

Let's say you meet your soulmate, and all is perfect, except for one little thing: Soulmate is allergic to your beloved pet.

1. S/he could turn that right back around, though. If you really love me, you'll get rid of the pet.

2. Allergy meds aren't a cure-all. I'm on Clarinex and still deathly allergic to cats.

I said it was hypothetical!

And how in the hell, exactly, do you expect 'Cid to hold still for that?

The thing is, you can give your pet a loving home with someone else and visit often. You can't really do that with a soulmate.

And like it was said above, meds don't necessarily do it. I have eye allergies with cats that aren't helped by meds. However, I love cats so much that I tolerate it.

Actually, you wash your cat regularly with Aller-Out, which keeps dander production to a minimum, so soulmate's allergies aren't really a problem.

Not gonna happen...

I'm sorry, but my soulmate would not be my soulmate unless he/she could be around animals in general - especially cats. I have always had a cat, since I was 8. My cat is my child. Baby comes first. If the guy/girl could not be around my cat, then they automatically would not be my soulmate. Period.

What she said! I concur wholeheartedly!

Pets are a lifetime commitment. You don't give them away when they become inconveinent.

Besides which, allergies will decrease in time with exposure. Many allergic people don't want to believe this, but I have SCIENCE! on my side. :)

Luckily, my soulmate has cats. Now, if I could just find out where my soulmate is, I'd be set.

I have The Answer....

This is soooo simple.....

One full roll of Duct Tape + one kitty = Silver Space Kitty!

Kitty would no longer shed, allergy problems solved, PLUS you would have a super cool alien looking kitty...

You need to add the option of sacrificing the animal to the gods to display your true affection for your loved one.

Well, at our house it's (d) don't get a pet and beg doctors to begin immun. therapy.

Which is not working so far. (Some allergics become worse with time, not better.)
