Why? Because I'm

1). systematically turning everything in my path purple (kellinator to gamgee: "I'll buy you a new comb.")
2). sitting in the floor gleefully singing along with redneck versions of gangsta rap standards
3). stealing everyone's cloves
4). AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: I can't stop squee!ing. I mean, I've tried, but everything here is so eminently worthy of squee!ing. I mean, within five minutes of arrival I was jumping up and down in the parking lot squee!ing.

SQUEEEE!!!!!!!!

Interesting foods tried so far: crepes. Yum!

Most amusing moment (so far): Walking down the streets on San Francisco with gamgee smoking cloves and drinking Red Bull out of a flask.

Crepes are a beautiful thing. I've tried to make them, and had little success, but they're truly a beautiful thing. Fill 'em with some homemade strawberry preserves and whipped cream, or you can put cream in them and chocolate sauce on top for an imitation canoli. :)
